The above parts photo shows some basic attic-to-home ceiling installation hardware. Not all parts shown are used or supplied. Not shown: 8" mating duct hardware. Shown: Ceiling air diffusers, filters, thermostats, flexible insulated duct & other hardware. The flexible attic air collector duct shown below is perforated to collect air evenly all along its length. It simply unfolds and is hung at the attic's peak. One end is attached to the GB Series air moving unit shown above and the other end is capped. |

Full Automatic OperationSpring and Fall: When the attic temperature is greater that 70°F and the house thermostat creates a heat demand, warm solar heated attic air is collected and routed back into the house to reduce space heating costs. In the Summer: When the peak attic temperature exceeds 105°F and there is no house heat demand, the attic is automatically vented to remove excess heat and reduce air conditioning costs. During the Winter: When outside temperatures are less than 28°F and the attic humidity is greater than 35% RH, the attic is automatically vented to remove excess moisture and prevent ice dams. During winter humidity ventilation, humidity is constantly monitored. If humidity increases at temperatures below 28° F, ventilation ceases for 24 hours. Otherwise, ventilation will continue until the humidity level no longer declines. This takes into account winter storms that can temporarily increase humidity in the air. Above 28° F, ventilation continues steadily until 60° F. This is the temperature range where ice dams occur. Constant ventilation eliminates the temperature difference on the roof deck which eliminates ice dams from forming. As an option, winter ventilation can be turned on manually. When 60° F is reached, the system starts to allow the attic to accumulate heat. At 70° F, this heat is then made available to the house if it is requested. Once installed, the user only sets the inside house thermostat. It's that simple! Limited WarrantyAll parts & workmanship warranted for 36 months. Specifications are subject to change without notice.
