Answer: The PCS3 technology can both heat and cool pools depending on temperature conditions between the pool and the attic. Because of this, we recommend automating the system to ensure the heating occurs as desired. Simply place the solar control in AUTO mode and set the temperature control to the maximum clockwise position. IF the pool gets too warm, back the thermostat down to a comfortable temperature. This process will ensure that the maximum heat is extracted from the attic.
