First PCS1 Shipped in 1988

This is a picture of the very first PCS1 ever shipped.  It was recovered during early 1997 and was originally installed in northern Florida during the fall of 1988.  This system was placed online in the spring of 1989 and ran for over eight (8) years. It is still functional passing both electrical and fluid pressure tests.  While there have been some improvements made in the cabinet and other areas, it can be readily observed that the fundamental design of the PCS1 has remained stable.
