SolarAttic Signs Manufacturer Rep Agreement With ECP

Elk River, Minn. (January 26, 1998) -- SolarAttic, Inc. announced today that it has signed a manufacturer's representative agreement covering Sarasota and Manatee counties in Florida. The agreement covers the distribution and sale of the Company's PCS1 swimming pool heater which uses solar-derived attic heat energy. SolarAttic's Pool Heater provides an answer to the number one solar sales objection which is solar panels. People do not like solar panels and many communities object. Some communities have building restrictions prohibiting the use of solar panels. The PCS1 is a heat exchanger which is located inside the attic and is out of site. It uses the roof as its solar heat collector.

SolarAttic's new manufacturer's representative is Energy Conservation Products, Inc. (ECP) based in Sarasota, Florida. ECP is a manufacturer's representative for a variety of energy saving products for use in energy efficient commercial and residential buildings. ECP is not directly affiliated with nor is it a subsidiary of SolarAttic. ECP is owned and operated by Matt Ross, its president and founder. Product information may be found at SolarAttic's Internet site. Information for sales in Sarasota and Manatee counties can be obtained by contacting Matt Ross of ECP at (888) 329-2705.

Ed Palmer, SolarAttic's president, said: "This is the first manufacturer's rep agreement that SolarAttic has signed. It is an exciting development for the company and we expect that it will lead directly to increased sales." Additional information can be obtained on the Internet at http://www.solarattic.com or by contacting Jim Stanley, VP of Marketing/Sales or James Kantorowicz at (612) 441-3440.
