SolarAttic Expands Pool Heater Warranty To 36 Months

Elk River, Minn. (February 2, 1998) -- SolarAttic, Inc. announced today that it has expanded its pool heater product warranty from 18 to 36 months. The Company's PCS1 swimming pool heater uses solar-derived attic heat energy and provides an answer to the number one solar sales objection to heating swimming pools. People object to the large amount of solar roof panels required to heat their pools. Some communities even have building restrictions prohibiting the use of solar roof panels. The PCS1 pool heater is a heat exchanger which is located inside the attic and is out of site. It uses the roof as its solar heat collector.

The new warranty reflects the Company's confidence in the pool heater which is already in 30 states heating swimming pools for about $10 a month in electricity costs. In addition to the 36 month parts and workmanship warranty, the Company increased its 100% Performance Guarantee from 90 to 180 days. Both warranties start from the date of shipment from the factory or dealer whichever is later.
