SolarAttic Pool Heater To Make Huge Waves At NSPI Show

Elk River, MN. (October 26, 1998) -- SolarAttic, Inc. announced today that it will showcase its pool heater at NSPI's 1998 International Expo & Conference in New Orleans, LA on October 28-30th. The National Spa & Pool Institute show is located in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

SolarAttic's new pool heater uses hot attic air to heat swimming pools for only $10 a month. As it heats the pool, it cools the attic and reduces air conditioning costs. Friendly to the environment, it does not burn fossil fuels. In all instances, it substantially reduces a pool owner's monthly utility costs. This is a stark environmental contrast to the typical pool heater which burns fossil fuels and can easily cost $300 a month to operate. It is also a stark visual contrast to solar panel heaters which require a massive panel area which occupies a large part of the roof. SolarAttic's pool heater, already in 31 states, is expected to make huge waves as it challenges traditional pool industry professionals this week to rethink the issue of heating swimming pools.

SolarAttic is a technology company. The company's technology provides total control of the attic in terms of its heat collection, moisture content and ventilation. The SolarAttic Pool Heater is one of several products the company has available that makes use of the free solar heat contained in attics. Other products provide controlled ventilation of the attic. This eliminates ice dams and other structural problems caused by poor attic ventilation.
