Packard Group to Search for Potential
SolarAttic Joint Venture Partners
Elk River, MN. (June 30, 2000) -- SolarAttic, Inc. announced today that it has signed an exclusive
"Joint Venture Partner Search Agreement" with The Packard Group, Inc. of Minnetonka MN. The
agreement calls for Packard to conduct an exploratory search to locate potential business partners.
Mike Tikkanen, founder of The Packard Group, has been assigned the task of exploring potential
business partnerships that can help bring SolarAttic's new energy technology to a higher level of
production and revenues. The search agreement is for a period of one year and calls for Packard to
locate "joint venture partners, funding sources, buyers or other significant business relationships."
SolarAttic's founder, Ed Palmer said: "It is obvious that many fundamental changes are taking place in
the energy industry. Factors such as shortages in electricity capacity, free-wheeling, the need for
cleaner burning fuels, and the need for energy efficient appliances have opened up many inherent
possibilities for joint venturing. These did not exist a few years ago. SolarAttic has pioneered the use
of renewable solar energy in the form of untapped attic heat and our products are now in 33 states.
However, we recognize that sales, distribution, service and production systems still need to be built.
It's clearly possible that joint venture partnering can help us achieve all of those goals faster."
