SolarAttic Invites Bush/Gore to Energy
City To See Global Warming Solutions

Energy City, USA. (October 12, 2000) -- Whether you think Global Warming is real or not doesn't

seem to matter much to the entrepreneurs located in Energy City, USA. Whether you think the

government should be involved or if private enterprise should solve it all also doesn't matter much.

Why? Several years ago, the Minnesota Environmental Initiative established a program in Minnesota

called Energy Alley. As a part of that program, the designation of Energy City was given to the City

of Elk River, Minnesota. Since then, entrepreneurs have been gathering their solutions for display and

demonstration in Energy City. In an effort to inform the nation that a multitude of energy solutions for

global warming exists, SolarAttic has personally invited both Governor George Bush and Vice

President Al Gore to Energy City for a tour.

Energy City has many new energy companies and technologies available. Among these are Econar

Energy Systems Corp., a manufacturer of geothermal heat pumps, a new technology that can reduce

home heating costs by up to 70%; NRG Energy which turns municipal solid waste into fuel for

electricity; and, Great River Energy which safely burns this new fuel to create electricity in Energy

City. SolarAttic developed new technology that uses attic heat. The company's technologies can save

30% of home heating costs nationwide, 50% of electric hot water costs and 95% of swimming pool

heating costs by using free attic energy. New technology to generate electricity from low-grade wind

resources is also available from Northern Alternative Energy. Plus, Energy City now uses methane

gas from its landfill to generate enough electricity to power 200 homes. More information about

touring Energy City, USA can be obtained by contacting Jim Stanley, who is Chairman of the local

Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of SolarAttic. He can be reached at (763) 441-3440.
